FAQ

  • We recommend scheduling an appointment to ensure a seamless and personalized experience. You can book online through our site HERE. However, we do accommodate walk-ins whenever availability permits. Please call ahead to confirm.

  • We provide an exclusive selection of luxury jewelry, including options made from solid gold, platinum, and implant grade titanium, as well as pieces featuring genuine gemstones and diamonds. Whether you prefer minimalist elegance, bold statement pieces, or custom designs, we have something for everyone. Rest assured, all our jewelry meets the highest standards for safety, quality, and biocompatible properties.

  • Enigma Professional Piercing Studios are proud to be members of the APP (Association of Professional Piercers) , meaning we adhere to the highest industry standards for safety and quality. We never use piercing guns, as they can cause unnecessary trauma to the tissue and increase the risk of complications. Instead, we use sterile, single-use needles for every piercing to ensure precision and minimize discomfort. We use sterile gloves for each piercing (most studios will just use exam gloves to pierce with, which are not meant to touch sterile implements before introducing them to an open wound). Our piercing process is conducted in a meticulously clean environment, and we exclusively use internally threaded or threadless jewelry made from implant-grade materials. Our team of experienced piercers are extensively trained in aseptic technique, sterile glove technique, yearly blood born pathogens training, following all local and industry guidelines to provide you with a safe and luxurious experience.

  • Absolutely! Every client receives detailed aftercare instructions tailored to their specific piercing. We also offer follow-up consultations to ensure proper healing and address any concerns you may have during the process.

  • For safety and liability reasons, we do not accept outside jewelry for piercings, or jewelry installs. At Enigma Studios, we exclusively use jewelry from our carefully curated collection to ensure it meets our rigorous standards for quality, safety, and sterilization. All of our jewelry is made from implant-grade materials and is specifically designed for safe and effective healing. This policy ensures the best possible experience and outcome for every client.

    • Ages 8+ for earlobe piercings

    • Ages 14+ for cartilage, facial, and other standard piercings

Both the minor and parent or legal guardian must be present, and valid government-issued identification is required for both parties, as well as a birth certificate for the minor. Additional documentation is required based on local regulations.

Please note: Certain piercings—including nipples, genitals, and surface piercings—are limited to clients 18 and older. If you’re unsure or have questions, feel free to call us directly for clarification.

  • Yes, we offer personalized consultations to help you design custom jewelry or plan unique, curated piercings that reflect your individual style. One of our specialties is ear curation, where our expert piercers work with you to create a cohesive, stylish arrangement of piercings that complements your anatomy and aesthetic preferences. Whether you’re interested in a single statement piercing, a full ear project, or custom-designed jewelry, we’ll guide you through the process to craft something truly one-of-a-kind.

  • When bringing previously worn jewelry into the studio, please place jewelry in a zip-loc or similar baggy before coming in. Due to our high jewelry quality standards, we only allow previously worn jewelry from Enigma. Please drop off any previously worn jewelry (from Enigma only) the day before your appointment. This allows us time to properly process the jewelry for safe use in a new piercing. Note that we can only re-use ends, not the posts for initial piercings.

  • Mill certificates only confirm the metal type, not sterility or proper handling. Accepting outside jewelry—even with a certificate—is a liability, as we can’t guarantee its safety. To protect your health and our standards, we only allow jewelry from Enigma that we can personally process and sterilize in-house.

  • The short answer to this; health codes. The reason why we ask clients to refrain from touching their jewelry or piercings in the studio is to keep all surfaces as clean as possible and our clients as safe as possible. Even a healed piercing secretes a small amount of oil and can contain bacteria. At Enigma we are contstantly disinfecting our surfaces. However, we ask you to refrain from touching your piercings or removing your jewelry while inside the studio. We promise we have your health and safety in mind and are in no way trying to offend when we ask this.
